Mach Coal Mining Lease – 1,994.55 Acres

The Barari Coal Concession is a 1,994.55-acre prospecting block located near Barari, District Bolan (Kachhi Division), Balochistan. The block is held by M/S Pak Minerals (Al-Malik Mines & Minerals group) under a Prospecting Licence granted by the Director General, Mines & Minerals, Balochistan.

The concession sits inside the Mach–Barari coal belt — one of Pakistan’s oldest and most historically productive coal fields. Mach, roughly 30 km north of the block, has supplied bituminous coal to the country’s cement plants, steel mills, brick kilns and railway system for over a century, and the surrounding geology hosts multiple economically significant coal seams.

Al-Malik Mines is inviting joint-venture partners, sub-lessees and technical operators to develop the block. The opportunity is open to:

  • Cement plants, steel mills and industrial buyers seeking secured long-term coal supply from a proven Balochistan producing region.
  • Financial investors looking for exposure to Pakistan’s coal export and domestic-supply sector.
  • Technical partners able to contribute extraction, dewatering and haulage capability during prospecting and early production.
  • Rail-linked traders — the site benefits from proximity to the Mach railway station on the Karachi–Quetta line.
